After losing his MD licence, Eugene
Sands turned to drinking to try and forget his past. But now a
dangerous criminal, Ray Blossom, wants him to work for him patching up
his underlings who get hurt while on the 'job'. But before he gets in
too deep, he will have to decide on saving his own life or losing
someone he cares about.
This is a great flick and enjoyable everytime I see it. Timothy Hutton plays the perfect bad guy: really dangerous and dirty but at the same time funny and likeable. David Duchovny does a great job as a failed doctor/drunk and pulls off his role fairly well.
