When a teenage girl, Regina, and her family
move into a strange new house in the remote countryside, things aren't
quite what they seem. There is a deep dark secret from the past that is
hidden by the walls of the house. When things begin to happen that are
unexplainable, Regina begins to suspect that there is something wrong
with the house. Her father soon finds a hidden room beneath the stairs
that give some clues as to what happened in the house before they lived
there. Regina learns that seven children disappeared years ago with
only one that escaped while the others were never found. It seems that
since her father discovered the secret room, something has seem to take
over his mind making him act crazy. Regina is now forced to discover
the truth about what happend and why they were some how all apart of a
plan to bring about some true evil known only as Darkness.
Well for watching the unrated version it was even worse than I had
imagined. It was so incredibly dull and pointless that I had to fast
forward through most of it so that I could keep myself awake. I
couldn't even see this movie being scary for someone else except maybe
the very end of the movie but I thought it was cheesy. I wouldn't
recommend this for anybody because I can usually stand these kinds of
movies but it was just classically horrible.
